Evening Office Cleaner – Large Facility

Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM (25 hours/week)

YR Janitorial Services Inc. is hiring experienced, reliable evening cleaners for a large corporate office facility in Burnaby. We are looking for local Burnaby residents who have their own vehicle and strong previous cleaning experience in commercial, office, or industrial environments.

This is a long-term, stable position with consistent weekday hours in a professional setting.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for completing detailed daily cleaning tasks throughout a large multi-level office facility. The building includes offices, hallways, meeting rooms, kitchens, common areas, staircases, and several washrooms. The work is structured, consistent, and requires someone reliable with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Cleaning Duties Include:

Office Areas

• Wipe and disinfect desks, tables, and touchpoints
• Dust shelves, ledges, baseboards, and horizontal surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and/or sweep & mop hard floors
• Empty garbage & recycling and replace liners
• Clean interior glass, partitions, and door windows

Hallways & Common Areas

• Sweep and vacuum floors
• Mop tile and hard-surface areas
• Disinfect handrails, light switches, and high-touch surfaces
• Spot clean walls, doors, and glass

Washrooms (Multiple Floors)

• Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, and counters
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, paper towel, soap)
• Wipe mirrors and partitions
• Sweep and mop floors
• Remove garbage & sanitary waste

Kitchen / Breakroom

• Wipe counters, appliances, and tables
• Clean sinks and backsplash
• Load/unload dishwasher and put away items
• Sweep and mop floors
• Remove garbage and recycling

Staircases

• Sweep and mop steps
• Wipe railings and touchpoints
• Spot clean walls

Requirements

• Must live in Burnaby or very close by
• Must have a reliable vehicle (no exceptions)
• Previous commercial cleaning experience required
• Ability to work independently and follow a checklist system
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
