Role Summary
As part of the logistics team and in collaboration with other departments, you will support the coordination of national distribution activities, ensure accurate product movement, and maintain strong communication with internal teams and external service providers. Your contributions will help drive efficient operations, compliant inventory flow, and continuous improvement across the logistics function.
How you can contribute:
Core Logistics Responsibilities
- Liaise between planning, logistics partners, and internal teams to resolve shipping, ordering, and inquiry issues.
- Enter, validate, and transmit orders and modifications through the ERP system.
- Follow up on delivery timelines and proactively communicate shipment statuses to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely responses to Marketing, Sales, and operational partners.
- Coordinate the shipping of orders, including document preparation and daily workflow support.
- Maintain internal communication regarding incoming goods and inventory movement.
- Participate in special projects such as operational time studies, cost evaluations, and new-province product launches.
- Perform other logistics-related duties as required.
Inventory, Accuracy & Compliance
- Support cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliation of inventory variances.
- Maintain accurate tracking of lots, QA release requirements, and product readiness for shipment.
- Validate lot allocation, shipment creation, and data accuracy within the ERP system.
Warehouse & External Partner Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound activities with internal and external warehouse partners.
- Monitor pallet counts, receiving issues, inventory discrepancies, and shipment readiness; escalate and resolve when needed.
- Support onboarding, alignment, and performance monitoring of warehouse and logistics service providers.
- Validate shipment configurations such as pallet builds, case-pick/pallet-pick data, labeling requirements, and accuracy of documented services.
Operational Support & Order Fulfillment
- Support order allocation and release for provincial boards and customer deliveries.
- Monitor replenishment flows and shipment deadlines to ensure on-time fulfillment.
- Coordinate with Planning and Procurement on shortages, backorders, and production readiness.
- Review freight timing, transit requirements, and loading schedules to support operational reliability.
Reporting, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate records in the ERP system, including order status, inventory adjustments, and shipment documentation.
- Prepare operational reports related to on-time performance, variances, and logistics service levels.
- Support updates to SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Contribute to cost and efficiency analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.

Things we hope you have:
- Post-secondary or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (asset).
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse coordination, or customer service.
- Experience creating logistics and transportation documentation.
- Comfort with ERP systems, WMS/TMS tools, and strong Excel capability.
- Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset.
- Ability to adapt quickly within a dynamic, regulated industry.

- Ability to attend ad-hoc meetings in Huntingdon is required.
- Some travel is required, based on operational needs.
