Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. The Project Manager will oversee building science engineering projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities include communicating with clients, stakeholders, and contractors; developing project plans; monitoring progress; and identifying and mitigating potential risks. The role also involves quality assurance, compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of service and technical excellence aligned with company values.
Qualifications
- Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities for client, team, and stakeholder collaboration
- Technical proficiency in construction, engineering practices, and knowledge of building science principles
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams effectively
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus
- Work experience in building science, construction, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with regulatory standards in the Canadian construction industry is an asset
