At Teledyne DALSA , we're a global leader in high-performance digital imaging and semiconductor solutions. From aerospace to life sciences, our advanced imaging technology powers some of the world's most demanding applications—including space exploration. Join our Waterloo team as a Technical Leader and guide projects that push the boundaries of what's possible.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical direction for one or more imaging projects

  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and reliability standards

  • Manage technical risks and drive solutions

  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams

  • Prepare and review technical reports and documentation

  • Support design for manufacturability and reliability

  • Interact with internal groups like manufacturing and purchasing

  • Occasionally travel to support customers and product introductions

What you need

  • Required: Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Required: Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Physics, Nanotechnology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Required: 5+ years of design/development experience

  • Required: Proven experience leading technical projects and teams

  • Required: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Advantage: Experience with ECSS/MIL standards and space systems

  • Advantage: Knowledge of CCD/CMOS image sensors

  • Advantage: Technical program management experience
