The Brant Mental Health Solutions/Pathways To Hope team is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Brantford.

The Brant Mental Health Solutions/Pathways To Hope Team is a group of mental health and autism professionals with a mission to provide comprehensive client care to people of all ages, utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and responding to the changing needs of the community. As a Speech Language Pathologist with us, you should have a passion for working with children with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of ASD and will be able to communicate with their parents/caregivers effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Providing individual assessment and interventions focused on improving or maintaining function, promoting health, supporting caregivers, and system navigation
- Collaborating with members of our team (including, Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Child and Youth Workers etc) to deliver comprehensive care and service coordination.
- Collaborating with partner organizations as appropriate to address patient goals and promote smooth transitions of care.
- Maintaining complete and accurate electronic medical records through our software "Jane."
- Actively participating in program planning, quality improvement initiatives, and meetings as required
- Communicating effectively with the client's parents, caregivers, education team etc as needed, and making sure everyone is aware of the care plan set out for the client.

Programs and Services:
- Involvement with several programs delivered by our team, including, but not limited to:
- General Speech and Language Assessments/Treatment for children and youth
- Designing and administering individual and group programs, both in person and using virtual platforms if necessary.

Education / Specific Job Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and evidence of professional liability insurance.
- Experience working with children and youth with autism.
- Vulnerable Sector Screen.
