We are looking for an experienced Receiving Supervisor to join our growing team. Fastening House specializes in providing electrical, mechanical, and general contractors with the products, tools, construction supplies and equipment they need – when they need it. Job Summary

A Receiving Supervisor is critical to the success of Fastening House and our ability to move materials from the supplier to our customer. This role will be the one to ensure complete orders are received in a timely manner. You will oversee the outbound flow of products to our branch locations across Ontario. The goal is to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all receiving processes and communications are running smoothly and promptly. Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with shipping and delivery staff.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare received product for shipping to complete.
  • Fill in for absent staff, or as demand increases.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization of receiving/warehouse area.Work in synergy with inventory manager, shipping, and sales to ensure an accurate and efficient warehouse stock levels.
  • Communicate with sales and procurement on a regular basis to ensure service purchase order commitments are being met.
  • Oversee and signing off on all Large PO's which come in on FH flatbeds or Supplier delivery.
  • Liaise with branch staff to insure IBT products are being shipped accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Notify manager of problems that are not resolvable.
  • Resolve all other issues at the warehouse level.
  • Accurately perform cycle counts as required.
  • Enforce a clean work environment within receiving and IBT area.
  • Organize all IBT and receiving documents.
  • Controls inventory by completed a Quality control procedure as described by warehouse manager.
  • Always look for new process opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of warehouse, logistics and inventory best principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of AS400, an asset, not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
