About

The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, forecasts, and variances in financial performance.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate data and insights.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvements based on analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for various projects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciliations.
Ideal Profile:

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings clearly.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with financial software .

Skills and Attributes:

  • Basic knowledge of applicable statutes, policies and procedures in a specific functional area.
  • In partnership with leadership, identifies a full range of alternatives for the business.
