Contractor Massage Therapist

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and compassionate Massage Therapist to become part of our dedicated wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess experience across various massage modalities and demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional client care. In this position, you will evaluate clients' individual needs, design customized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services that foster relaxation and healing. This role requires bringing your own treatment table to each session, as services are provided within residential high-rise communities. Scheduling is flexible and offered on an as-needed basis.

Duties

• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine clients' unique needs and preferences.
• Deliver a wide range of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
• Utilize your understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Create a calm, welcoming atmosphere to ensure an exceptional and professional client experience.
• Educate clients on self-care routines and wellness habits to support their long-term health and well-being.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols to maintain a pristine work environment.

Requirements

• Active state license or certification as a Massage Therapist, along with valid liability insurance.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health fundamentals.
• Skilled in multiple massage styles, particularly deep tissue and Swedish massage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with a focus on superior client service.
• Background in pain management is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to evaluate clients effectively and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Dedication to continued education and professional development within the field of massage therapy.
• Must supply your own treatment table and all required materials.
• Dependable transportation is essential.
