**Position Overview:**

We are currently seeking a skilled Blind and Shade Assembler to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling various types of blinds and shades according to specifications, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Assemble Blinds and Shades:** Construct blinds and shades according to product specifications, utilizing various materials such as fabric, wood, metal, and plastic.

2. **Operate Machinery:** Safely operate machinery and tools required for assembly, including cutting, sewing, stapling, and gluing equipment.

3. **Quality Control:** Conduct thorough inspections of assembled blinds and shades to ensure they meet quality standards, including proper sizing, alignment, and functionality.

4. **Material Handling:** Manage inventory of materials and components required for assembly, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained to meet production demands.

5. **Troubleshooting:** Identify and address any issues or defects in the assembly process, implementing corrective measures as needed to maintain product quality.

6. **Adherence to Safety Procedures:** Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

7. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate effectively with other members of the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

8. Occasionally assist in the installation of window coverings as required

**Qualifications:**

• Previous experience in blind or shade assembly preferred, but not required.

• Ability to safely work at heights up to 20' using various ladder and scaffolding equipment where necessary

• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.

• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and processes.

**Education:**

High school diploma or equivalent.

**Physical Requirements:**

This position requires the ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

8am-4pm

Pay starting at $18/hr

Once you are experienced and are proficient in all job functions you can expect $20-$23
