About

The Baker will be responsible for mixing dough, preparing fillings, and glazing pastries. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker for at least 3 years.   An excellent Baker must know how to mix different ingredients to prepare delicious loaves of bread for customers. Some types include pretzels, baguettes, and multigrain loaves while taking care to ensure taste quality and appearance. The candidate must be willing to migrate and work in Canada.   Summary of Responsibilities
  • Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
  • Weigh the flour and other ingredients to prepare the dough
  • Bake different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes and multigrain bread
  • Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
  • Track food supplies and place orders, as needed
  • Following operational standards for the preparation of products and operation of equipment
  • Maintain required product levels as per our Always Fresh standards
  • Achieve daily targets
  • Can be on their feet for hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Desired Skills and Competencies
  • Experience as a Baker.
  • Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, and dough sheeters
  • Understanding of food safety practices
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
  • Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
Minimum Requirements
  • At least high school diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Willing to migrate and work in Canada
