We are searching for a Sales Manager to join our Parkland at Home team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia .

Reporting to the Regional Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the business development and drive sales growth for Parkland at Home. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on marketing execution to increase client census and revenue.

  • About the Opportunity

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve client census and revenue growth. 
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach to physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, eye clinics, church groups, and case managers. 
  • Execute proactive lead generation strategies including prospecting, educational sessions, and participation in community events. 
  • Conduct regular visits and presentations to referral sources and potential partners. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, and community-based organizations. 
  • Track and manage referral pipelines to ensure consistent client intake and conversion. 
  • Monitor referral partner satisfaction and address concerns promptly to support long-term collaboration. 
  • Promote client involvement in community organizations and activities that support social connection and well-being. 
  • Respond to inquiries and provide timely, accurate information about services and care options. 
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and generate regular sales reports. 
  • Analyze market trends, feedback, and competitive data to refine sales tactics. 
  • Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies to ensure targets are met. 
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery. 
  • Organize and execute marketing events, open houses, and community presentations. 
  • Assist in developing promotional materials, media articles, and advertising content. 
  • Maintain inventory of promotional items and reorder as needed. 
  • Network with community groups and associations to increase visibility and awareness. 
  • Assist in the development and management of the marketing budget. 
  • Ensure professional appearance and adherence to facility dress code. 
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure client safety through adherence to operational procedures. 
  • Additional related duties as required.
  • About You

    In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales or business development role in home health, hospitality, or healthcare services or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets 
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage. 
  • Exposure to budget management 
  • Lead generation 
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset
