Overview

Metro Compactor Service is looking for an Jr. Project Coordinator to join our team This enthusiastic individual will work closely with multiple teams to facilitate the coordination of a variety of projects.  We are looking for someone who is a self-manager with excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and pivot to changes.  Effectively communicating updates with staff and customers respectfully and professionally.

Location: Project Coordinators will work from the office location.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and organize new projects in the system, ensuring all required documentation is collected and submitted.
  • Coordinate multiple projects by keeping timelines, schedules, and priorities up to date.
  • Communicate with clients and internal teams to confirm details, share updates, and ensure smooth installations.
  • Support scheduling and logistics, including material procurement and delivery coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and easy access.
  • Prepare and track purchase orders for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Assist with billing and invoicing requirements by submitting necessary documentation on time.
  • Provide clear status updates to stakeholders and act as the main point of contact for project-related communication.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure timely completion of work and resolve potential challenges.
  • Prepare close-out packages for clients, including manuals, warranties, and reports.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, listen actively, and offer constructive feedback when needed.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs and take on additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication; active listening and empathy to ensure positive customer interactions.
  • Problem-Solving Ability – Skilled at resolving issues quickly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Builds rapport with customers and colleagues; maintains a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Technical Proficiency – Experienced with CRM systems, ticketing tools, and proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Time Management & Organization – Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple inquiries, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Adaptability & Resilience – Thrives in fast-paced environments and handles challenging conversations with composure.
  • Team Collaboration – Works effectively within teams, shares knowledge, and supports collective goals.
