Mechanical Project Manager

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate with clients, site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project workflows and communication.
• Develop detailed project schedules to optimize timelines and resource allocation.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation on-site.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Utilize construction estimating tools for cost analysis, change pricing, and budget tracking throughout project phases.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining detailed documentation for transparency and accountability.
• Implement project management best practices using tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, and other Construction management software to streamline workflows.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Facilitate effective project coordination by managing schedules, resources, and communication among all stakeholders.
• Ensure timely completion of projects by applying strong time management skills and proactive problem-solving strategies.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on mechanical systems within commercial, institutional or light industrial projects.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to mechanical installations.
• Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety protocols and site operations.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software
• Experience with construction estimating software
• Strong understanding of contracts, change management processes, and procurement procedures within the construction industry.
• Excellent project management skills encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Effective communication skills for clear collaboration with clients, teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies. Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
