We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Operations, Real Estate Systems to cover a maternity leave. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate across all areas of the business through day-to-day support interactions and project work. You will work closely with business teams, Canada Life Technology Services, and external vendors to ensure the continued operation and enhancement of our systems. This position offers a chance to positively impact the organization's daily operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement—challenging the status quo, ensuring consistency, and driving efficiencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize your support and technology skills to lead the analysis and development of solutions to real estate system problems:
  • Issue Analysis and resolution
  • Engaging external vendors and Canada Life Technology Services where needed
  • Monitoring and communicating the status of the issue through completion
  • Testing of system enhancements and/or new reports
  • Completion of information requests and/or feeds for internal clients
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in our current applications and processes
  • Conducting and supporting security audits and reviews
  • Understand and support the following real estate processes when required:
  • Property setup and configuration
  • User security for both Real Estate applications and Network
  • System configuration and security
  • Scheduling of system processes and reports
  • Financial Consolidations
  • Currency Conversions
  • Budgeting Process
  • Initiate opportunities to enhance and optimize business systems to help drive value for the organization
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures updates 
  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI
  • Service Now experience is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi or similar ERP is an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
  • To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information to an audience-level understanding
  • The ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with numerous competing priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated attention to details with a focus on organization and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
