The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated, early-career individual who is excited to develop their sales skills and grow into a high-performing member of our revenue team. This role focuses on generating and qualifying leads, starting conversations with potential clients, and supporting our sales pipeline through consistent outreach. We believe great salespeople are developed through coaching, practice, and the right attitude-so we're looking for someone who is curious, resilient, positive, and eager to learn.
What you'll do
Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
- Conduct light market research to understand target accounts, buyer personas, and key industries
- Generate leads through outbound emails, cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and social selling
- Build, adapt, and personalize outreach messages and simple outbound campaigns
- Use multiple prospecting channels to engage potential clients and spark interest
- Maintain accurate notes and activity tracking in our CRM
Lead Qualification & Handoffs
- Engage prospects to understand their needs, interest level, and potential fit
- Qualify leads based on basic criteria and hand off strong opportunities to Account Executives
- Nurture early-stage leads with consistent follow-up and relevant information
Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the sales team to align on ideal customer profiles and territory focus
- Share insights from prospect interactions to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Meet weekly and monthly activity expectations (emails, calls, LinkedIn touchpoints, etc.)
- Support simple reporting and updates for leadership
What you'll need
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2 years or more experience in sales, customer service, or another people-focused role
- Strong communication skills and comfort with email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach
- Positive, resilient, and eager to learn through coaching and hands-on practice
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage activity targets and follow-up
- Familiarity with CRM systems, LinkedIn, and general prospecting tools is an asset
