Valleyview Co-op is hiring a FULL-TIME CLERK in our PIERSON FOOD STORE in PIERSON, MB.

What you'll do:

Under the supervision of the Store Manager, Full-time Clerk will support both the Grocery and Deli departments. This combined role provides variety of daily tasks, including stocking shelves, preparing deli products, assisting customers, and maintaining a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards. Key responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service across both Grocery and Deli department

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, shelves, and service counters

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures

• Assist customers with product questions, recommendations, and special requests

• Assists with ordering, receiving, product preparation and packaging, inventory counts, product stocking and rotation, and housekeeping

• Work cooperatively with team members and support other departments as needed

• Perform additional duties assigned by Store Manager to support store operations

Applicant must be available for 40hrs per week and able to work various shifts, including rotating weekend shifts.

Wage Range: $16.25 to $20.29/hour
