Responsibilities:
- Accurately document and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with transportation carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Verify shipping information and product details for accuracy.
- Operate shipping software and ensure proper labeling of packages.
- Maintain shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Handle customer inquiries related to shipping.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments when necessary.
- Follow all company safety protocols and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and order processing systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and best practices.
- Physical ability to handle packages and occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
