We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, contributing to the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving shipments, stocking shelves, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for dispatch. This position requires a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized warehouse. - Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Verify shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Accurately stock received items in designated warehouse locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and work areas.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
Experience in a warehouse or similar setting is beneficial. Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be reliable and punctual.
