We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in San Diego, California. In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload a variety of materials and products throughout the warehouse. Your expertise is critical to maintaining the flow of goods, supporting inventory management, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, highly reliable, and possesses excellent operational skills with a proven history of safe forklift operation. You will work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors, contributing to a productive and organized environment. - Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload inventory and materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs or issues immediately.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes, ensuring accurate and timely handling of goods.
- Manage warehouse inventory through accurate placement and retrieval of items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Strictly follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Understand and apply principles of warehouse Logistics for optimal material flow.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Perform tasks involving potential Lifting of up to 50 pounds, in addition to forklift operation.
