Become a Distribution Center Associate at our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. This dynamic role offers a comprehensive experience in warehouse operations, contributing to the seamless flow of goods within our extensive logistics network. You will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and certified.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company guidelines.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational issues.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues to achieve operational goals in logistics.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required.
This role requires a strong work ethic and a dedication to operational excellence within our critical logistics infrastructure.
