Job Summary:
Join our team as an Inventory Clerk in Cincinnati, Ohio, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. This position is essential for our logistics operations, ensuring that stock levels are precisely managed. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and assisting with overall inventory control. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of inventory management principles. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Track the movement of inventory, including receipts, shipments, and transfers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Prepare reports on inventory levels, aging stock, and cycle count results.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal inventory accessibility.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as receiving and shipping, to resolve inventory issues.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory items to prevent damage or loss.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and logistics processes.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including some Lifting, as needed.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
