We are hiring Warehouse Associates for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is integral to our efficient Logistics network, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for a range of duties including receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and has a strong commitment to workplace Safety. This position involves consistent Lifting of inventory, and strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential. Responsibilities:
- Process inbound and outbound shipments accurately.
- Pick items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely for safe transit.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and procedures, including correct PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory checks and record-keeping.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational targets.
- Handle tasks requiring regular Lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Capability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Good teamwork and communication abilities.
- Dedication to Safety and following guidelines diligently.
- Familiarity with basic Logistics concepts.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
