Job Summary:
Our Seattle, Washington location is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This critical role ensures the integrity of our stock levels, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to prevent future errors. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of inventory management best practices. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to enforce and adhere to all safety procedures, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role is primarily focused on record-keeping and analysis, there may be occasional tasks involving Lifting and moving of inventory. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required.
  • Familiarity with Logistics operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
