We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our key logistics facility in Las Vegas, Nevada! This role is vital for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Accuracy in tracking inventory and ensuring proper storage are critical. A deep understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Transport products from receiving areas to storage and from storage to shipping areas.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment before and after use.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure proper stacking and organization of goods to prevent damage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times while operating equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
