Are you a detail-oriented individual ready to contribute as a Picker/Packer in Cincinnati, Ohio? We are looking for dedicated team members to manage the critical process of fulfilling customer orders. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role demands efficiency, precision, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety . You will play a vital role in our logistics network, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Select correct items from inventory based on pick lists or digital orders.
- Verify item accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Pack items carefully using appropriate materials to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Use hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area according to established procedures.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, including the proper use of required PPE .
- Participate in inventory checks and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to management immediately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and meet productivity goals.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for the duration of the shift.
- Capability of Lifting items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics principles.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
