Job Summary:
Are you an experienced Material Handler looking for a new opportunity in Kansas City, Missouri? We are seeking a reliable individual to manage the movement of materials within our warehouse. This role is essential for ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are transferred efficiently and safely to their designated locations. You will operate various types of equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory, playing a key part in our overall logistics and production process. A strong focus on workplace safety is paramount.
Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
  • Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate material records.
  • Ensure all materials are handled in a manner that prevents damage or loss.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support overall warehouse operations as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift operating certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics .
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of workplace safety .
  • Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
