Exciting opportunity for a Forklift Operator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! Join our fast-paced Logistics environment where your skills will be valued. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials, load and unload trucks, and maintain an organized warehouse. Safety is paramount in this role, and adherence to all company policies and procedures is required. We are looking for experienced operators who are committed to efficiency and accuracy. This position involves direct interaction with products and inventory, making your role vital to our supply chain. You will perform daily inspections of your equipment and report any issues promptly. Teamwork and communication are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move and stack materials.
- Load and unload pallets and other items from trucks and into warehouse storage.
- Conduct daily pre-shift checks on forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring clear aisles and access points.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and protocols.
- Ensure proper use of required PPE at all times.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Support overall warehouse and Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable forklift operating experience. Valid forklift certification is essential. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong safety consciousness and a commitment to accident-free operations. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check. The ability to manage significant Lifting throughout the shift is necessary. Your dedication to Safety will make you a valuable asset.
