We are hiring a reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida! This role is central to our logistics operations, requiring a motivated individual to perform a variety of tasks that ensure efficient warehouse functioning. You will be involved in order picking, packing, sorting, staging merchandise, and loading/unloading shipments. Accuracy and speed are key to fulfilling customer orders effectively. A strong emphasis on safety is mandatory; you will be required to adhere to all company safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves consistent physical work, including frequent Lifting and moving of products, so a good level of stamina is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, as well as independently when needed. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Sort and prepare merchandise for shipment, ensuring correct routing.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the distribution center floor and workstations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Uphold all safety standards and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Team player with good communication skills and a focus on safety.
