We're hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona! If you're a safety-conscious professional with a passion for efficient logistics, this role is for you. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, load, and unload a variety of goods. This position is crucial for maintaining the flow of inventory and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent forklift operation skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. This includes adhering to all company policies, utilizing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and conducting regular equipment checks. You'll work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the smooth running of our facility. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moderate Lifting, is required. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including aisles and docks.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Forklift Operator with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
- Proficiency with various types of forklifts.
- Ability to handle regular Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Solid understanding of warehouse logistics and safety practices.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
