Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations. This role is crucial for overseeing inventory, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our logistics network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse supervision and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment, implementing operational improvements, and coordinating with other departments to meet company goals. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and motivate warehouse staff, providing training and performance feedback.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and system updates.
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE .
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or coordination.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics best practices and industry trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse software.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
- Must possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and the importance of adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Ability to analyze operational metrics and drive improvements.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
