Join our bustling logistics hub in Houston, Texas, as a Warehouse Associate! We're looking for dependable individuals to manage the flow of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and managing inventory. This role demands physical fitness, an eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on operational excellence. We provide all necessary safety equipment, including PPE, and comprehensive training to ensure you're well-prepared.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations efficiently.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using scanners or pick sheets.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification or training provided).
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in cycle counting processes.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with other associates and supervisors to meet productivity goals.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Dedication to safety and proactive use of PPE.
