Our busy distribution center in Omaha, Nebraska, is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing logistics team. This role is essential for the efficient handling and processing of goods, ensuring that products move smoothly through our facility. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and possesses the physical stamina for the demands of the job, including frequent Lifting. We pride ourselves on a safe work environment and expect all associates to strictly follow safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. - Receive and unload incoming merchandise from trucks.
- Sort and stock products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – training provided).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Awareness of safety procedures in a logistics setting.
