Job Summary:
Join our busy logistics hub in Miami, Florida, as a Receiving Clerk! We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming shipments. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and ensuring all items are properly logged into our inventory system. Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols, utilize proper lifting techniques, and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
  • Unload incoming freight from trucks and containers.
  • Inspect all incoming goods for damage and verify quantities against shipping documents.
  • Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
  • Organize and stage received goods for distribution to the warehouse floor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
  • Capability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and using inventory management software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents and purchase orders.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting and stand for extended periods.
  • Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
