Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and safety-minded Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in San Francisco, California! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe movement of materials throughout our distribution center. Your expertise in handling various types of forklifts will ensure that inventory is stored correctly, retrieved efficiently, and loaded/unloaded from trucks without issue. This role is essential to our logistics operations, demanding precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
  • Safely transport goods to and from designated areas, including receiving docks, storage racks, and shipping bays.
  • Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
  • Ensure proper adherence to all warehouse traffic rules and Safety regulations.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while operating machinery and in designated areas.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory, verifying counts and condition.
  • Support order picking and packing operations by delivering necessary materials.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with maintaining stock accuracy.
  • Follow all safe Lifting techniques and best practices for material handling.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and contribute to overall warehouse Safety.

Qualifications:
Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience. High school diploma or GED. Ability to perform manual tasks, including occasional Lifting. Solid understanding of warehouse operations, Safety procedures, and logistics. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Must be committed to following all Safety guidelines and wearing designated PPE.
