We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick products accurately based on customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack orders securely, ensuring they are ready for transit.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Employ proper Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. A good understanding of warehouse operations and general logistics principles. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and individually.
