Responsibilities:
- Verify outgoing orders for accuracy against packing lists and shipping documents.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare customs documentation as required.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and logistics.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Ensure the shipping area is clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate any shipping discrepancies or issues to management.
- Ability to handle moderate lifting up to 40 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and managing documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with carrier requirements and logistics processes.
- Understanding of workplace Safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills.
