We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics network. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will ensure that all team members are adhering to safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse personnel, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain records of inventory, shipments, and operational costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and secure at all times.
- Monitor key performance indicators and report on warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in understanding and enforcing safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lifting guidelines.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
