Job Summary:
We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Boise, Idaho. This role is fundamental to our inventory management system, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately documented and processed. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, verifying the contents against purchase orders, inspecting for any damages, and entering data into our inventory system. A sharp eye for detail and accuracy is paramount to prevent errors and maintain reliable stock levels. This position involves moderate physical activity, including some Lifting of items up to 30 pounds and standing for periods of time. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are required for this role. You will be an essential part of our logistics chain, ensuring that our operations run smoothly from the moment goods arrive. Responsibilities:
  • Accept and unload incoming shipments.
  • Verify received items against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory management system.
  • Organize and stage received goods for put-away.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
  • Follow all Safety protocols and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with occasional Lifting of boxes and items.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a similar role is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving some Lifting and standing.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
