We are looking for an experienced and certified Forklift Operator to join our bustling logistics hub in San Francisco, California. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse facility. Operating various types of forklifts, you will load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. Your daily tasks will involve operating forklifts to transport goods, ensuring proper stacking and storage of inventory, and conducting pre-operational checks on equipment. Experience with different types of forklifts, such as reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts, is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and unstack palletized materials.
- Load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Follow proper lifting techniques for heavy items.
- Ensure smooth logistics operations within the facility.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
