In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and ensuring optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in inventory management, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures and policies.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment or adjustments.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with the organization and arrangement of inventory within the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform some physical tasks, including occasional lifting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
