Are you an experienced Forklift Operator? We are hiring in Indianapolis, Indiana! This role is vital to our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack goods. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to operating procedures are critical. If you have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent spatial awareness, and can handle tasks involving Lifting, this is a great opportunity. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Follow all Safety regulations and procedures for forklift operation.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure proper use of PPE.
- Support the logistics team in maintaining operational flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience with various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and operate equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management is a plus.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and committed to Safety.
