The Solution Architect
Enterprise Data, Analytics & Integration will own the end-to-end technical architecture for our modern data platform (Azure + Snowflake/Databricks + Power BI) and enterprise integrations (Okta, Oracle HCM & Financials, Salesforce, UKG, etc.). You will drive strategy, standardization, security, and innovation while eliminating redundancy and delivering measurable business impact. This role reports to the Director, Data Analytics. What You'll Do: Design secure, scalable, high-performance architectures spanning private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. Define integration strategies including API management, event-driven patterns, and ETL/ELT pipelines for seamless data flow across systems. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative, future-proof solutions aligned with enterprise strategy. Embed security, identity (zero-trust, ABAC/RBAC), data privacy, and compliance (GDPR, SOX, etc.) into every design. Ensure performance, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity objectives are met. Establish and enforce data governance, quality standards, lineage, and catalog practices in collaboration with data stewards. Build strong partnerships with infrastructure, security, network, and application teams to rationalize tools and eliminate overlapping efforts. Mentor developers, analysts, and engineers; provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance. Present compelling solution visions, roadmaps, and trade-offs to C-level executives and technical audiences. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For: Required qualifications:
6+ years in solution/technical architecture roles. Expert in Microsoft Azure data stack (Power BI, Power Automate, Data Factory/Synapse, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, Git, IaC with Bicep/Terraform). Deep experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks (medallion architecture, performance, cost governance). Proven integration architecture with 2+ of: Okta, Oracle HCM Cloud/Financials, Salesforce, UKG Pro/Dimensions. Solid foundation in enterprise infrastructure: WAN/LAN/wireless, hybrid cloud connectivity, and networking. Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to present to senior leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and efficiency through technology consolidation. Relevant certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer, etc.
