As a IT Support Analyst, you will provide dedicated IT support to our UK operations while collaborating with colleagues and engineers across our global network. You will play a key role in supporting local IT functions, offering both administrative and organisational assistance for a range of projects and technology initiatives.
*Main accountabilities and activities*
Business as Usual Activities
* Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support for both office-based and remote staff, including branch locations
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, operating systems, networks, printers, and scanners
* Monitor and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems and network infrastructure
* Delivery technical assistance across the company, both in person and via remote channels
* Set up and manage user accounts for new employees
* Diagnose, repair and replace IT equipment as required
* Test and evaluate new technologies for potential implementation
* Develop training materials and deliver follow-up training sessions to users
* Maintain accurate asset management records and user documentation
* Liaise with external service providers and manage relationships with key stakeholders
* Produce weekly and monthly reports across various systems and applications
Project Work
* Assist in the creation of project documentation and maintain clear records
* Actively participate in ongoing projects, contributing technical expertise where required
* Support the setup and ongoing maintenance of branch offices across the UK
*Key Competencies*
*Technical Background*
* Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices
* Solid knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy management
* Familiarity with AI applications and their practical use in business operations
* Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and best practices
* Proficiency in CMD and PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
* Experience working with Microsoft Exchange 2016 or later
* In-depth expertise with Windows operating systems
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365 environments
* First-line support experience for web applications such as SAP
* Cisco networking experience is desirable; strong understanding of networks is essential
* Experience in installing and supporting audio-visual (AV) equipment
* Good knowledge of IP telephony systems
* Ability to create and maintain clear, concise technical documentation
* Prince2 or APM project management qualification is desirable
* A degree is Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is preferred

*This role is an office based role, with travel required between our Richmond and Bracknell site.*
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
