Join our team as a Material Handler in Salt Lake City, Utah, and play a critical role in our supply chain operations. In this position, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials and products within our facility. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods using forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring inventory is stored correctly. A strong understanding of warehouse processes and a commitment to operational efficiency are key. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide comprehensive training on equipment operation, Safety procedures, and the mandatory use of PPE . - Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against documentation.
- Stage materials for outbound shipments.
- Operate and maintain material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, including adherence to all Safety regulations and mandatory PPE requirements.
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required. Must possess a valid forklift certification and experience operating various types of forklifts. Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and heavy Lifting (up to 75 lbs). Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
