We are looking for a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics operations in St. Louis, Missouri. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of all incoming goods. This includes unloading shipments, inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking items in their designated locations. A thorough understanding of warehouse receiving procedures is essential. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that our supply chain flows smoothly. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly follow Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. This role involves regular Lifting of items, sometimes requiring assistance for heavier loads. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. We value individuals who are proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against documentation.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory system.
- Stock received items in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if applicable).
- Collaborate with inventory and shipping departments.
- Assist with inventory control procedures.
