About
We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in San Jose, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and stacking materials and products throughout the warehouse. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of forklift operation, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks and order pickers, to transport goods to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks. A critical aspect of this job is adhering to all Safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to perform regular Lifting and maneuvering of heavy items is essential, and proper techniques will be emphasized. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supporting the overall efficiency of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport products to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and store inventory in appropriate locations.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely material movement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory control systems is a plus.
