About
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We prioritize safety above all else and expect all employees to adhere to our strict safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move pallets, materials, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and reflective vests.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
