Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick products from inventory based on customer orders or internal requests.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for safe transit.
- Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with inventory control measures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret product labels, order forms, and safety instructions.
- Physical capability to perform standing, walking, bending, and lifting tasks throughout the workday.
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is a plus.
