Our bustling warehouse in Chicago, Illinois, is looking for motivated Warehouse Workers to join our operational team. This role is fundamental to the success of our distribution processes, encompassing all aspects of warehouse management from receiving to dispatch. You will engage in tasks such as loading and unloading, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing shipments. A keen eye for detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are key. We foster a culture of safety and expect all team members to strictly follow Safety guidelines and wear provided PPE . This role involves significant physical activity, including consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs. - Accepting and processing incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders.
- Storing merchandise in appropriate locations, ensuring proper rotation and accessibility.
- Accurately picking items from inventory based on pick lists or digital orders.
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate materials.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carriers.
- Operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Participating in regular inventory counts and stock audits.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
- Complying with all company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve daily operational objectives.
