About
Join our growing team in Tampa, Florida, as a Material Handler! This critical role supports the entire warehouse operation by ensuring materials are moved, organized, and readily available for production and shipping. You will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, to transport goods efficiently and safely. A strong understanding of warehouse layout and inventory management principles is beneficial. We are committed to providing a secure working environment, and adherence to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform significant Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs. - Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Receiving and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Performing routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Assisting with inventory control and cycle counting.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Following all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety protocols.
- Working collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
